Daily Living - Flake Foil Stamping Stickers

I have been getting questions regarding flake stickers:  Are they stickers? Do they stick? How to remove the backing of the sticker? Don't laugh, not all of us are flake sticker experienced, and we have all been there and done that at some stage!

They are called stickers, so of course they SHOULD stick. Flake stickers use die cut washi paper with sticky glue on the back, covered by a plastic backing.  To use the flake stickers:  peel the backing off and stick the sticker to a surface of your choice.

Peeling the backing off can sometimes be a challenge, but crafty people have all found their favourite way to do it! Check out various YouTube posts for great ideas... but personally, I like to use the edge of a thin plastic sheet used as the backing of most sticker sheets.

But, I totally understand and sympathise why many people are confused and have expressed their concerns, due to their bad experience of getting flake stickers that don't stick.  There are many fake flake stickers being sold online that are low quality, the backings might be hard to peel, or some don't even have an adhesive coating at all!

At Washi Tape Australia we only sell authentic quality products. We sell mostly Japanese brand stationery / stickers, which have a 100% money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied.

We would love you to leave a comment and share your experience with Flake stickers, or provide your tip on the easiest way to remove the backing.

Thank you for stopping by our store and your continuing business.
